Happy April!! It’s crazy to think how fast March has flown by. In March, I visited my sister, planned and executed mom’s day with zetas and our lovely moms at the Dallas Aquarium and worked my first movie screening. Today on the blog I thought I’d share with yall my March favorites.
My mom. She rocks. She always works super hard, is selfless and plays badminton like a champ. Over winter break, my sister and I were shopping for my room at the sorority house and went to Hobby Lobby. We found this super cute fabric and realized it wasn’t big enough to be a bed scarf (this is still a weird concept to me). She ended up making it a pillowcase. Every time someone comes over I tell them how my mom made this pillow. *scroll down to the next picture to see!*
Suits. I started this show a while back and it’s one of those shows you have to pay attention to because of all the legal terms. In 2014, when I first started watching this show, my group used it for a project for my Intro to PR class. Recently I decided to get back into it and I was reminded of how great it was. I love how snarky everyone is, especially Donna.
Dark chocolate pretzel crisps. My roommate introduced these to me and I’m addicted. Go to Costco right now and get them. It’s the perfect combination of salty and sweet.
Beauty and the Beast. I’ve been interning at a movie company and this was my very first screening I worked on. Since it was Disney, it was a little hectic but so incredibly worthwhile. Beauty and the Beast rocked. I couldn’t stop smiling and mouthing the words to the songs. It had a wonderful cast and I can’t wait to see it again.
Nail Envy. I’ve always had short nails because I bit them. I used to take pills for hair and nails but I didn’t think they were very effective. They were a little stronger than Hair, Skin and Nails, but I felt like they made my nails brittle. My friend told me about Nail Envy and I decided to try it out. This stuff really helps but it takes time.
What are your March favorites?
Hope yall are having a great week!
