Binging Bad

There’s about a week left of Christmas break for me so, here’s an excuse to recommend shows to yall!

So if you’re like me, you may have a nice friend who allows you to borrow her account to watch Netflix or you may have an Amazon Prime account. If you don’t have either, that’s totally fine, try Couchtuner or search [insert tv show here] putlocker in google, etc.

Also, I’m sorry for not posting in two months, I’ll definitely try to be more consistent!

I’ve decided to classify these shows into two categories: comedy and drama.

Baby Daddy

It’s about a twenty-something named Ben who finds out that he’s a dad. Also you’re gonna want to root for Riley and Danny even though she likes Ben, Danny’s brother.

Where to watch: Netflix

Boy Meets World

Okay, I’ll be honest. When I was younger I hated this show. I didn’t understand the show. Recently I watched it and I fell in love with it. Cory and Shawn are the ultimate bromance. It’s a show about life and it touches SO many topics.

Where to watch: Youtube

This is a classic! It’s only 20 minutes so it’s super easy to get through all the episodes.

Where to watch it: Netflix

The Mindy Project

Mindy is a gynecologist trying to find love. It’s a funny show.

Source: my crappy Snapchat picture bc I thought I thought I was running out of data.

Fun fact: I met Mark Duplass who plays Brendan Delaurier, a midwife, at the LAX airport a couple of years ago. I spent like 10 minutes confirming it was him and freaking out to my friend because I wasn’t sure it was him or not! He was on my flight back to Dallas so that was pretty cool!

Where to watch it: Hulu

The Office

To be honest, I didn’t like this show very much the first time. I thought Michael was especially super annoying. Watching it again the second time, I enjoy it more because although they were all annoying, they truly are like family. Also, Jim and Pam.

Where to watch it: Netflix

Parks and Rec

It’s about a parks and recreation department, hence the name. It has a wonderful cast. Amy Poehler, Chris Pratt, etc. Like don’t we all want a Leslie Knope to compliment us like she does Ann Perkins?

Where to watch it: Netflix

Sabrina The Teenage Witch

Screen Shot 2016-02-09 at 11.14.38 PM

Okay, sometimes we’re all a little sassy like Salem. It’s about a teenage witch..

Where to watch: Amazon Prime

The Carrie Diaries

“Before there was Sex, there was me, Carrie.” This is a prequel to Sex and the City. Carrie is in her high school years figuring out life. Also set in New York, which makes me want to go because NY is always a good idea. It’s a lot tamer than the original series. Austin Butler is in it and I’m forever sad they canceled it.

Where to watch it: Netflix

Friday Night Lights

It’s about a football team. At first I didn’t like watching it because the camerawork was so shaky but clear eyes, full hearts, can’t lose. It makes me wish I was more involved in high school, in regards to football.I love the Christian elements in it.

Where to watch it: Netflix

Gossip Girl

I watched this when this aired from 2007-2012 and I’ve forgotten the plots a bit! In the beginning everyone’s a bit annoying but they do get a bit better. You’ll ship so many couples and you’ll definitely have your favorites in the end. I don’t want to give anything way so you’ll just have to wait to watch it yourself! There’s something about New York that’s so beautiful and romanticized in movies and shows that makes me want to go back. Also, it doesn’t hurt that Chace Crawford is beautiful. 😉

Where to watch it: Netflix

It’s about 5 federal agents living in a house called Graceland.  BUT they’re undercover, which makes for a ‘not so graceful land’ – my friend who refuses to be named. It stars Aaron Tveit who was in Gossip Girl as Tripp van der Bilt and he was also in Les Mis.

Where to watch: Netflix

Grey’s Anatomy

I was late to the Grey’s Anatomy party. I didn’t think I’d like it because I don’t like blood but I ended up liking Grey’s Anatomy. It has so many twists and turns and suddenly you’re crying at a multiple tv episodes.

Where to watch it: Netflix

How to Get Away With Murder

Okay, there are definitely some questionable bits but it’s quite a good show! It’s about a handful of law students. Wes (Dean Thomas from Harry Potter) is in it but he loses his accent.

Where to watch it: Netflix

One Tree Hill

Screen Shot 2016-01-07 at 10.40.23 PM

All right, I’ve recently started watching this show. I’m not big into getting into shows that are 40 minutes long and there are 100+ episodes but I made an exception. It’s about high schoolers who live in a city called Tree Hill and two of the high schoolers are half-brothers and they hate each other.

Where to watch: Netflix

This is really really great series but it’s so hard for me to set aside an hour and thirty minutes to watch it. I usually end up falling asleep because it’s so long. I have one episode left so I really need to catch up…

Where to watch it: Netflix

It’s a show about a guy who doesn’t go to law school but becomes a lawyer anyway so he tries to keep his secret underwraps so no one finds out. He’s a brilliant lawyer and so smart. Also, Rachel and Jessica have #closetgoals.

Amazon Prime

Teen Wolf

The first season is all fine and dandy and then once it goes on it becomes more intense. Lydia and Scott both great character development, which is awesome. Also can we talk about how Mama McCall is literally the best? Also she’s pretty sassy and so is basically everyone else on the cast. (see below)

It has one of my favorite actors, Dylan O’Brien, who plays Stiles. You’ve probably seen him in The Maze Runner. He’s quite funny and you’ll see that he’s not just the ‘sidekick’ best friend. He’s much more than that. You’ll find yourself relating to a lot of the characters. Not in a supernatural way though.

You’ll laugh, you’ll (probably) cry and your heart will break into little pieces but it’ll be worth it.
ALSO they do a terrible job of forgetting about characters for a while so you have no idea what happened to them..

Where to watch it: Amazon Prime
